Robinson The Journey has finally came out on PSVR which makes it I think the first real Dinosaur VR to be released on the playstation. I’ve been waiting to play this game from the moment I heard it was being released. So, let’s do this shall we.

ROBINSON The Journey REVIEW
Robinson The Journey takes place on a dinosaur island, you play as a young scientist survivor, your companion is a flying drone and a little T-rex, both will assist you on your way throughout the game.
The game is beautiful graphically, in terms of VR, it’s one of the best titles available for the PS VR at the moment, the immersion is over-the-roof, when longnecks pass by you, you will feel the scale, the beauty and danger of these extinct creatures.
I have never felt so immeresed within a VR game as I have with Robinson The Journey.
The game’s beauty does not last long, it’s a 4 hour journey with a $60 price tag, a very memorable game, yet a very short one too.
The game is great, however, it misses out on a LOT of potential, this may be am inor spoiler, but the heavily promoted T Rex is only in the game for about 40 seconds.
longnecks and raptors are used in a great way, other dinosaurs are there for a few seconds, which is a huge dissapointment as I would love to have a variety of scenes with different dinosaurs.
In short, Robinson The Journey lays out the right formula, but fails to make good use of what could have been.
